Our Mission
The GGCDS Alumni Network fosters a collaborative space for alumni to exchange ideas, enhance professional skills, and support ongoing research initiatives. Our mission is to cultivate a sustainable network that empowers alumni to make significant contributions to their fields, communities, and beyond.
Objectives
- Strengthen Professional Networks: Build strong relationships between alumni to support professional growth and open doors for collaborative research.
- Enhance Research Capacity: Encourage alumni to share their research, present papers, and contribute to publications that highlight innovations in educational methodologies.
- Mentorship & Community Support: Provide mentorship opportunities to current GGCDS students, empowering the next generation of educators and researchers.
- Give Back to Society: Support community projects that address critical social needs, from education to health, as a means of contributing to societal development.
Key Activities
- Conferences & Workshops: Our annual alumni conference offers a platform for knowledge-sharing, with sessions on career development, mentorship, and resource mobilization. The alumni network also hosts workshops, colloquiums, and research schools in various thematic areas.
Mentorship Program: Alumni play a pivotal role in mentoring GGCDS students, providing guidance on academic research, career planning, and professional development. Our mentorship council, composed of experienced alumni, is dedicated to supporting mentees in their educational journeys.
