Bernd Siebenhüner
Bernd Siebenhüner is professor for ecological economics at Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, Germany. He held positions at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK), Harvard University, and the Nelson Mandela University, South Africa. As member of the Steering Committee of CERMESA, he contributed to the establishment of DIGIFACE. He has lead and co-lead numerous transdisciplinary research projects funded by the European Union, the German Research Foundation (DFG), the German Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF), the Volkswagen-Foundation, or the German Academic Exchange Service. In his research, he focusses on social learning, international organizations, climate adaptation, and biodiversity governance, and the role of science in global environmental governance.
