Open Source – Perfect Tools for Digitalisation in the Public Sector
How is the TYPO3 Open Source Content Management linked with your University? We invite you to join our upcoming online event presented by the TYPO3 Open-Source Content Management Community, focusing on the transformative power of open source tools in the public sector.
Why Attend?
The Global South has historically faced technological dependencies, often having to choose between costly external solutions or freemium options from tech giants like Google and Meta. This event will introduce a third way: leveraging freely available open source tools and communities to foster local innovation and independence. Our focus will be on using TYPO3 to empower governmental and university websites and portals.
Why You Shouldn’t Miss This Event:
- Gain insights into the advantages of using open source tools like TYPO3 in the public sector and university context.
- Learn from real-world examples, such as the Rwanda project, where local coders are empowered to build and manage government websites.
- Explore future opportunities for digitalisation in the Global South and beyond.
- Engage with experts and participate in an interactive discussion to get your questions answered.
