The last events of our Network for 2023 are approaching. Professor Werle and Professor Vormbaum have recently published a book on „Transitional Justice – The Legal Framework“. We are taking this as an opportunity to launch two events on current developments in the field of Transitional Justice, especially in African states. The current challenges, the events of recent years, and future prospects will be presented from a legal perspective. We cordially invite you to participate in our events on “Transitional Justice – The Legal Framework”.
In the first event, Professor Dr Moritz Vormbaum will shed light on the current status and future perspectives of transitional justice. Dr Juliet Okoth complements the contribution with a presentation on the African Union’s legal policy stance on Transitional Justice, particularly with regard to criminal accountability.
