Dear DIGI-FACE community,
We are pleased to announce two modules for October.
One is the Using Your Padcaster mini-module, open to anyone who wants to learn how to make the most of their centre’s Padcaster. It includes two Zoom sessions and a small film project that you can complete alongside your colleagues during the course.
The other module is presented for the first time: It is Quantitative Research Methodologies 2 and deals with inferential statistics and data analysis using freely available software (Microsoft Excel Data Analysis Toolpak and BlueSky Statistics). In this module you will also be shown how to install and use the programs. While most of the learning will take place in a self-paced fashion on Moodle, the course is also accompanied by five synchronous Zoom sessions. If you have completed the Quantitative Research Methods 1 course, the course picks up seamlessly from what you have learned previously. However, anyone with a basic understanding of quantitative research methodology is welcome to apply.
As always, both modules are free of charge and rewarded with a certificate upon successful completion. You can apply using our application forms here. Please make sure to be logged in to the platform, otherwise you will not be able to apply. The application deadline for the module Using Your Padcaster is 10 October, the deadline for Quanti 2 is 30 September.
