    Université Protestante au Congo (UPC)

    The Protestant University in Congo is a faith-based institution of higher education. It offers programs through its five faculties: the Faculty of Theology, the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics (FASE), the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Medicine, and the Faculty of Computer Science. With nearly 8,000 students, it is considered a prominent Francophone academic institution.

    -1959: The Faculty of Protestant Theology was established as a university-level educational institution, initiated by the Protestant Church in Congo (Église du Christ au Congo).

    • 1989: The Faculty of Humanities was opened alongside the Faculty of Theology, forming the Protestant Faculties in Zaire.
    • 1994: Upon a decision by the Board of Directors, the Protestant Faculties in Zaire transformed into the Protestant University in Congo. This transformation involved the conversion of the Faculty of Humanities into the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics and the addition of the Faculty of Law.
    • 2006: The Faculty of Medicine was established.
    • 2009: The Congolese-German Microfinance Center was created as one of the five centers of excellence under the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
    • 2013: A partnership was formed with the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management to establish the Central Africa Europe Business School, a management school.
    • 2017: The new Faculty of Computer Science (FASI) was established within the university, comprising two departments: Computer Engineering and Information Systems.          www.upc-rdc.cd

    Frankfurt School of Finance & Management

    As a leading private business school, the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, has become a constituent component in the business and finance community. It has set itself the task of contributing significantly to the advancement and further development of national and international business practices and methods by engaging in teaching, continuing and postgraduate training, as well as research and consultancy. Frankfurt School is cooperating with the Université Protestante au Congo at the CCAM for almost 15 years now, and an excellent foundation has meanwhile grown.
